Do you know what pastele is and how to say it? This place is for real. Pork pastele, spicy or mild, gandule rice, bacalao (salted cod) salad with a zingy dressing, ham hock soup, sweet lumpia (banana, or if you're lucky banana chocolate peanut butter) and savory (mild or spicy), super ono crispy fried chicken thighs and more! The dining area is very modest and super local style but we LOVE it all! Reasonable prices, friendly, excellent warm service, DELICIOUS pastele and more! Portions are GENEROUS. If you like pastele, you gotta try!
